§ 11-21. Defacement or destruction of property.

(a)

Definitions.

(1)

Minor means any person under the age of eighteen (18) years.

(b)

Graffiti prohibited. No person, unless authorized, licensed, or invited, shall write, paint, or draw any inscription, figure, mark of any type on any wall, rock, bridge, roadway, building, fence, gate, tree, or other real or personal property, either publicly or privately owned without the consent of the owner thereof. In any prosecution or trial of any person charged with violating this section, the violator shall have the burden of proving that he had the consent of the property owner or the authorization, license or invitation.
