§ 6.01. Oath.

Every officer of the city shall, before entering upon the duties of their office, take and subscribe to an oath or affirmation, to be filed in the office of the Commission, that the officer will support, protect and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States and of the State of Florida, and the Charter and all ordinances of the city, and in all respects faithfully discharge the duties of his office.
