§ 3.05. Meetings.
(a)
Regular. The Commission may, by majority vote, declare some meetings during a fiscal year to be unessential to conduct the public business of the City of Coral Springs. Subject to the foregoing, the Commission shall meet regularly not less than twice each month, at such times and places as shall be specified by resolution. All meetings of the Commission shall be open to the public.
(b)
Special. The City Clerk shall, at the request of the Mayor or on written request of three (3) or more Commissioners, call special meetings of the Commission in the manner prescribed by ordinance. The Commission shall have the same power to transact business at special sessions as at regular sessions.
(c)
Absences. Absence from four (4) regular consecutive meetings of the Commission shall operate to vacate a seat of a member unless such absence is excused by the Commission or unless such absence is due to illness.
(d)
Rules of procedure. The Commission may determine its own rules of procedure.
(e)
Misconduct. The Commission may punish its own members for misconduct in office, and may on four-fifths ( 4/5 ) vote, expel a member from the meeting for misconduct in office or neglect of duty.

Quorum. A majority of all members of the Commission shall constitute a quorum.
