§ 8-2. Receptacle maintenance and use.

Receptacles containing garbage or trash shall be tightly closed and maintained in a sanitary condition. Receptacles, including recycling containers, shall be stored so as to be substantially hidden from view at eye level from adjacent properties and street rights-of-way. Storage areas shall be screened with shrubbery, walls or fencing material.

All receptacles designated as recycling containers shall be tightly closed (if applicable), maintained in a sanitary condition and used solely for the collection of designated recyclable materials.
