§ 7-203. Fire watches.
Fire watches shall be required if any of the following events occur:
(a)
When a fire safety system is out of service for more than four (4) hours;
(b)
When temporary cooking is set up to provide food to the public; and
(c)
When a temporary use permit is issued for a special event that anticipates more than four thousand (4,000) people over the course of the event. In this case a special detail shall be provided or as determined to be required by the fire marshal.
A fire watch may only be done by a certified fire inspector employed by the City of Coral Springs, unless otherwise approved by the fire marshal.
