§ 3½-1. Local regulations of hours and activities.
(a)
Prohibited hours of sale. No vendor licensed under the laws of this state to sell beers, wines or other alcoholic beverages, shall sell or offer for sale or deliver or serve or permit to be consumed upon the premises of such vendor any beers, wines or other alcoholic beverages of any kind, regardless of alcoholic content, any day between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
(b)
Package goods; hours of sale.
(1)
No vendor licensed under the laws of this state and permitted by law to sell beers, wine or other alcoholic beverages by the package, bottle or original container for consumption on or off the premises shall sell or offer for sale, or deliver, any beers, wines or other alcoholic beverages in the original package, bottle or container for consumption off the premises any day between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
(2)
It is the intention hereof to prohibit the vendor from permitting a person to purchase packaged goods in the original container and leave the premises where so purchased, during the prohibited hours, taking with him or her any beers, wines or other alcoholic beverages originally purchased by package, bottle or container, to be consumed off the premises.
It is the intention hereof to prohibit the vendor from permitting anyone purchasing package goods in the original container to leave the premises where so purchased during the prohibited hours, taking with him in any container any beers, wines or alcoholic beverages originally purchased by package, bottle or container, so that same may be consumed off the premises.
