§ 2-73. Quasi-judicial matters.
(1)
For the purposes of this article, the following planning and zoning matters, where a final determination is made by the city commission, shall be considered to be quasi-judicial:
(a)
Site specific rezoning;
(b)
Site specific land use amendment;
(c)
Conditional use approval;
(d)
Tree variance;
(e)
Sign variance;
(f)
Plat approval;
(g)
Special exceptions which relate to the use of land.
(2)
For the purposes of this article the following matters, where a final determination is made by the planning and zoning board, shall be considered to be quasi-judicial:
(a)
Variances related to setbacks, distance requirements between buildings or substantially similar dimensional regulations.
(3)
All quasi-judicial proceedings before the city commission shall be held immediately following the closing of the final public hearing related to the matter. Notwithstanding other provisions of the Code of the City of Coral Springs, the planning and zoning board shall follow the procedure of this article in hearing all matters as referenced in subsection (2)(a) herein before the board.
