§ 26-13. Stormwater assessment appeals committee.
(a)
Appeals arising from this chapter shall be sent to the stormwater assessment appeals committee. The committee shall be comprised of delegates from the public works department, the finance department, and community development division. The delegates shall be selected by their respective department director and shall have subject matter knowledge of the stormwater collection program. The city engineer and/or any employee of the city engineering division shall not be a member of this committee.
(b)
Upon the city's receipt of a completed appeal application and the required application fee, the city shall schedule a stormwater assessment appeals committee meeting. The meeting shall be held no later than thirty (30) calendar days after the completed application and fee is received.
(c)
The stormwater assessment appeals committee shall render a decision on an appeal at this scheduled hearing. The decision of the committee shall be final.
