§ 22-10. Meetings, dates, procedures, records and quorum.

  • (a)

    An organization meeting of the Charter School Advisory Board shall be held as the first meeting of each year, or as soon thereafter as practicable, for the purpose of electing officers for the ensuring year. A chair and vice chair shall be elected for terms of one (1) year by the board from its voting membership. At least one (1) regular meeting of the board shall be held each month from September through June of each school year, unless otherwise determined by the board. Special meetings may be called by the chair or by any four (4) voting members of the board.

    (b)

    The board may propose reasonable rules of procedure to govern the conduct of its business subject to the approval of the city commission. All meetings, records and files of the board shall be open and available to the public, consistent with Chapter 119, Florida Statutes (The Public Records Law) and Chapter 286, Florida Statutes (the Sunshine Law).

    (c)

    Four (4) voting members in attendance shall constitute a quorum of the board.
