§ 15-1. Definitions.

(1)

City of Coral Springs Traffic Engineering Standards means those specific standards developed by Kimberly Horn and Associates and adopted by the Coral Springs City Commission on August 19, 1990 and as amended from time to time.

(2)

Compliance period shall mean the time period specified in section 15-11 of this chapter after which non-conforming newsracks are subject to enforcement action by the code enforcement board or the special master.

(3)

Distributor shall mean any individual or business entity engaged in the dissemination of any publication utilizing a newsrack located in the City of Coral Springs.

(4)

Newsrack compartment shall mean each compartment within a newsrack designed to contain the newspapers or publications being distributed from that newsrack.

(5)

Newsracks shall mean any type of unmanned device located on public property utilized for the vending or free distribution of newspapers, periodicals or any publications.

(6)

Public right-of-way shall mean any public street, highway, sidewalk, parkway or alley.
